A baby naming ceremony is an opportunity for parents to announce the names that have been chosen for their child/children in the presence of invited family members and friends.

At the ceremony, parents will make promises of commitment to the child, which is a way of saying that they will be the best parents they can be.

​

Friends or relatives chosen by the parents take part in the naming ceremony as 'supporting adults', and they will pledge a special relationship with the child/children. Grandparents and siblings can also take part in the naming ceremony.

The naming ceremony could include a story of how much you wanted to be parents, readings, music or poems, creating a unique and special event that parents, family and friends will remember and cherish.

Parents, supporting adults, guardians and grandparents can include a reading or poem into the ceremony.

• I write to you to confirm dates and availability

• I set up a dedicated client page just for you to access

• ​You are then able to register as a member of this website to access your client page

• We can then communicate via your client page

• ​On the client page you can share ideas with me and fill in the questionnaire

• ​We then have our first meeting to find out about your ideas

• I then create a completely unique and personal range of content for your ceremony 

• Please put forward suggestions for readings, poems and music

• We discuss how to write your own promises 

• Ideally we include one unity ritual in the ceremony - we can discuss this further

• A full bespoke ceremony script is then written

• I share a draft copy with you, if you wish to see it before the day 

• I liaise with other vendors and planners to ensure that everything runs smoothly

• Delivery of the ceremony

• If you would like a Ceremony Certificate I prepare one for you to sign in your own colour scheme 

• Commemorative copy of your script wrapped in a luxury folder
